yourprivilegeTheir search for the works of one Arthur Conan Doyle had come up with another two volumes, both of which correlated strangely to cases John had worked on with Sherlock. But for weeks there had been nothing, no matter how much she looked. Today however, Mary had found something.
The Exploits of Sherlock Holmes by Adrian Conan Doyle seems to be a collection of short stories. Adrian seemed to be a relative of some sort of Arthur as far as Mary could tell. Now she was looking through the shelves, seeing if there was anything else. There was another collection of short stories by a variety of authors, but nothing else.
The two books tucked under her arm, she heads to check them out, her head down. Mary doesn't even notice anyone walking toward her, much less Flavia.
"Oh," Mary pulls up short, trying to shift the books behind her. "I didn't see you there."
